SCE Residential Rebates Set to Drop

SCE Residential Solar Rebates are currently in Step 2 at $2.50 a watt for Residential.

The current level can be seen at the Statewide Trigger Tracker. SCE has about 1.7MW remaining with .99MW under review.

If you subtract .99 from1.7, you get .71MW left until SCE drops to Step 3 which is $2.20 per CEC AC Watt.

A good rule of thumb is that the average residential system size is approximately 7 kW.

So, .71MW = 710 kW.

710 kW / 7kW = 101 solar system applications before SCE drops to Step 2.

This should happen in April or early May.
