Solar Electric Installations Heating Up...Supply tightening

I've been told by my suppliers that Evergreen, Mitsubishi and BP Solar are planning on shipping a large volume of panels to Germany over the next 3 months.  Apparently, the German market has a forthcoming drop in their incentives rate which is driving demand and price increases.  In addition to this, the US federal tax credits are expiring at the end of 2008.  This is increasing demand as many California customers are deciding to go solar by the end of the year.

This increased demand in the US and Germany will begin to constrain supply.  It appears that strong demand in Spain is also a part of this equation.

I believe that both module supplies and installation capacity will begin to tighten going into the summer.  Now is a good time to reserve a solar system.
